Protect account access with the security options in Coinomatic. Two-factor authentication adds an authenticator step to the account's sign-in flow.
Set up an authenticator
- Open Security from the account navigation.
- Start the two-factor authentication setup shown on the screen.
- Add the account to an authenticator app using the QR code or manual setup secret.
- Enter the current six-digit verification code from the authenticator.
- Complete verification and confirm the enabled state shown by Coinomatic.
Know the supported method
The setup uses time-based authenticator codes. SMS is not supported by this screen. Follow the method the application offers rather than expecting a text-message code.
Keep setup information private
Do not share the QR code, manual secret or current authentication code. Avoid including them in screenshots or support messages.
If verification fails
Check the validation message and use a current code from the account you just added. Do not assume setup is complete until the application confirms it.
